I was lucky enough to visit Macau during October 07 and although I stayed at the Wynn, I spent most time playing in the Grand.The place is going to be beautiful when it is finished and would not look out of place on the Vegas strip.The selection of games is truly mind boggling and the fit and finish of the place is very good.The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and the drink service was excellent.

An absolute jewel of a casino, marred by poor management. The players, dealers, and overall atmosphere can be pretty dreary. Table service is better than the rest (not saying much however). I hope SJM learns from the newcomers.

The bar has a good selection though, and the free girly show when I was there was eye-catching (though generic, you can only watch former russian gymnasts contort and lip-sync for so long).

Much improved since last time I was there. They must have really worked out the kinks. The guards though are still on the surly side.

They just opened a poker room (or rather roped one off). Dealers are all female and rather cute (in a Hello-Kitty-ish way). The poker area is by someting rather humorous, the "Star of Stanley Ho". A huge diamond Stan bought, named after himself, and then encourages everone to drool at. Is that guy for real?

Meanwhile the theme of the Decor finally hit me. Think of Connery-era James Bond and Bruce Lee did a buddy movie together circa 1968. Groovy baby, groovy.
