Macao Studio City is currently under construction
Macau Studio City broke ground on its $2 Billion dollar project in February 2007 and is scheduled to open its first phase construction in mid-2009 with completion in 2011. Macau Studio City was designed by architect Paul Steelman and is owned by Cyber One Agents Limited which is a joint partnership between eSun Holdings and New Cotai LLC. Macau Studio City's casino will be managed by MelcoPBL - the folks who own and operate City of Dreams and Crown Macau.

Macao Studio City will feature numerous miniature hotels ranging from 4 to 5 star quality. Hotels on the property will include Cotai Marriott, a Ritz-Carlton, W Hotel, and a David Tang signature hotel.
Macao Studio City's W Hotel will feature 563 rooms & suites, The Living Room, W Cafe, Fitness center, pool and cabanas. Architect for W Hotel is Charles Allem Designs.
In addition to these boutique hotels, Macao Studio City will play host to the Playboy Mansion Macau, a fully integrated hotel and casino within the confines of Macao Studio City.

Macao Studio City is located on the Cotai Strip just north of the Lotus Bridge immigration checkpoint across the street from Macau Dome and the Far East Consortium Project site. It is one of the first resorts most Chinese visitors will pass if they enter Macau by walking the Lotus Bridge from Zhuhai.
