Galaxy Grand Waldo is one of the larger of Galaxy's City Clubs casino operations. It features multiple floors of casino action, smoking and non-smoking areas, 168 gaming tables (67 VIP), 310 slot machines, and a ton of electronic table games like Rapid Roulette and Rapid Sic Bo.
PokerStars Macau - one of the first fully-operational poker rooms in Macau - opened in 2008 and plays host to the annual Macau Poker Cup and the APPT Macau.

Galaxy Grand Waldo is located on the Western end of the Cotai Strip within walking distance of Galaxy World, Venetian, Macau Studio City, Casino Marina and to a lesser degree the Macau Jockey Club. You could probably walk to Crown Macau if you're a glutton for punishment.

Galaxy Grand Waldo's hotel features 318 large and luxurious suites. If the StarWorld is any inclination of the smartness of their layout and decor, the rooms here are pretty kick ass.
Rooms at the Grand Waldo have views of the harbor or (eventually) the other casinos on the Cotai Strip. Until Cotai is built up, you should probably get one with a view of the Marina Infante.

Galaxy Grand Waldo offers numerous dining options including Western, Hunan, Shanghai and Thai cuisines as well as a buffet, congee and noodle joints. Galaxy Grand Waldo also hosts a rockin night club and a super fun Karaoke bar for those who like to sing when they get sauced.

Decline in the nightlife earns it downgrade from me.

Isolated area, sleepy casino floor, solid hotel, good poker room, been told a great all day spa, and intriguing nightlife opportunities. This place is not for everyone, but that makes sense seeing how you have to search out this isolated place originally. If you want good poker, good nightlife for the gent, and/or a place to drop of the non-gambling ball and chain, this is the place for you.
All this may change when the affiliated Megaresort opens up across the street, thus making the area more of a destination. I hope the change are for the better.
